Vet- Dr Michael Wallace B Vet Sci, B Nuc Med

Dr Michael Wallace graduated from the Uni of Sydney in 2003, after completing a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Technology (Nuclear Med) and then a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. He began his career working in Campbelltown. In August 2006 Michael established his own veterinary practice with the goal of providing the community with a friendly and professional place to have their pets cared for, hence the practice name, Caring Vets. Caring Vets is a predominantly small-animal practice.

Vet – Dr Kate Cox B Vet Sci

Dr Kate Cox completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2008 at the University of Sydney. Kate worked for 3 years at Orange Veterinary Hospital, a very busy mixed-animal practice, and enjoyed the variety of working with such a large array of animals. In April 2011 Kate undertook further training in hip and stifle surgery. She moved back to Sydney at the end of June 2011 with her family, and joined the team at Caring Vets in July 2011.

Practice Manager – Paula

Paula brings a range of experience to Caring Vets. She has completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Postgraduate Diploma of Education (Secondary). She enjoyed teaching maths and science for a while, but as the practice grew, Paula began to take on more of an administrative and management role. In 2010, Paula swapped teenagers for animals full-time, taking on the role of Practice Manager.

Nurse – Louise

Louise previously worked at Menai Animal Hospital. She has been working at Caring Vets since January 2010, completing her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing in July 2011.  Louise has been on maternity leave following the birth of her second child, but will be returning to us in October 2016.

Nurse – Erica

Erica has been working as a vet nurse for 25 years. She has worked for a variety of vet hospitals in that time, and started working at Caring Vets in October 2012. She is very passionate about cats. Erica is also our Puppy Pre-school Instructor.

Nurse – Jacky

Jacky previously worked in the hospitality industry whilst studying vet nursing.  She started working for Caring Vets in January 2014, completing her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing 18 months later. Jacky she is very passionate about animals, especially cats!

Nurse – Tahlia

Tahlia is currently completing her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing, and joined the Caring Vets team in September 2015. She has previously worked in the human pharmacy industry, and has great practical knowledge of animal care.
