The team at Caring Vet welcome the opportunity to work with our community in ways that provide the opportunity for education about pet health care. We are regularly involved in sponsorships and local events that align with our focus on animal welfare.
We proudly support this Australia-wide charity dedicated to caring for animals owned by people struggling with homelessness. Pets in the Park helps to provide veterinary care to the pets of homeless people who may not otherwise have access to these services. Their pets are just as important to them as they are to any family, and they provide valuable emotional support and companionship.
We are proud platinum sponsors of the Thornleigh Thunders in 2018 and look forward to attending games and supporting our local team.
Keep an eye out for our exclusive Doggy Supporter bandannas so your four-legged friends can look the part at the games!
Out team can assist by conducting talks at schools and various community organisation to provide advice on topics such as planning for a new pet, or how to minimise the stressful impacts of moving homes with a pet. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss how we may be able to help your organisation.
We actively contribute to Rotary Club events and enjoy donating prizes for fund raising evenings.
As a local mum our Hospital Director Dr Prue Honson is keen to educate children on responsible pet ownership and in particular forming safe bonds between kids & dogs. Watch this space for future projects in this area…
