Puppy Preschool

A valuable step in helping your puppy to become a happy and well-adjusted dog

About Puppy Preschool

Puppy Preschool is a safe, clean and fun environment where your pet is able to learn essential skills and socialisation that will set your puppy up for life.

Our Puppy Preschool instructor Erica, holds 25 years’ experience which she brings to classes, and throughout them she shares her amazing knowledge. We have a lot of fun in class and talk about all things for puppies, ranging from toilet training to tricks. Puppy preschool not only teaches puppies, but also helps provide guidance to owners on important topics such as vaccination protocols, worming routines, tips about desexing, product information and much, much more!

Puppy Preschool provides a supportive group for owners to also chat amongst other puppy owners, and the opportunity to potentially make life-long puppy preschool friends! We love meeting new people and their family addition of a brand new puppy!

Course Outline

The course is run either on a Monday or Wednesday night at 7:30pm at the clinic. It is also run on Saturday afternoons at the clinic.

The course runs for 4 weeks, one class per week. In those four weeks we take participants through a wide range of important subjects such as socialisation, products review, diet requirements, and problem-solving. We also cover many more valuable points, to help make your puppy-owning experience easier and to assist you in gaining a better overall understanding of all things relating to owning a new puppy.

Animal Requirements / Eligibility

Your puppy must be between the ages of 8 – 16 weeks. They must also have had their first of three puppy vaccinations, and be up-to-date with worming and flea treatment. These are important, to ensure that everyone stays healthy and the environment is clean; Puppies’ immunity is not as strong as adults, and little bugs can become big bugs if these requirements are not followed.

Fees

The fee for the entire 4-week course is $120, with payment being required at commencement of the course.

Puppy Preschool Teacher

Erica is a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse who now teaches students at Goulburn TAFE. Erica has over 25 years’ experience and is very passionate about all things animal! Erica is still currently nursing, and is therefore always improving and updating her knowledge. She loves sharing her knowledge with puppy owners.
